I’m not going to lie to you, I just don’t have the emotional or creativity energy to come up with such paragraphs right now.
I never met Kobe Bryant and his family, I’m not a father, hell I’m not even a Lakers fan. But for whatever reason, the news of his death this morning hit me harder than I ever could have imagined. I guess that may just be a byproduct of being a sports fan growing up in the 90s and 00s.
This one will sting the sporting world for a while, but nevertheless there is a job to do and life always moves on. And I like to think if they ever read this site, It’s what Kobe and Gigi would have wanted.
