Saturdays contest between the #12 ranked Simeon Lady Wolverines and the #6 Nazareth Roadrunners proved to be the matchup that everyone had hoped for. Despite trailing for three quarters Simeon used a dominating fourth quarter to defeat Nazareth 57-48 on Saturday afternoon.
The Indians made their triumphant return to to the public leagues top division defeating the North Lawndale Phoenix 76-70 in their first Red North-West game since the creation of CPS super conferences.

As last years Morgan Park were accepting their championship medals, then junior standout Ayo Dosunmu was required to take to the podium on crutches.
One year later, Dosunmu finally got his opportunity to showcase his abilities on the big stage, claiming the class 3A title game scoring record with 28 points and leading Morgan Park to a 71-56 win over Southeast for the Mustangs second consecutive state title.
