Luke Drase

Luke Drase is the founder of Illinois Preps Insider.

Growing up on the Northside of Chicago, Luke has been around Illinois high school athletics for his entire life, often keeping “the book” for his dad during early morning Freshman B basketball games. Despite some mild protests from IHSA officials, there was never a mistake make.

Luke received his undergraduate diploma from Marquette University and his Masters degree in Sports Journalism from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham a university in Southwest London.

During his time in London, Luke had the opportunity to act as contributor and editor for the Sports Gazette, work for NFL UK’s public relations department, and helped provide content for Perform Media Group.
