Mary Kate Lopez led the Ramblers in kills and block with four and three respectively. Angela Pieroni had 20 digs and Mary Leinenweber dished out 17 assists.
Maine West (7-4, 1-1) def. Vernon Hills (2-8, 0-2)

The Warriors fought back after an opening loss to Maine East to even up their conference record at 1-1.
Reilly Olson and Angela Dugalic led the team in kills with 6. Ally Block had 11 assists, and Sophia Saldana finished with 12 digs.

Evanston (10-5, 1-0) def. Maine South (5-6, 0-1)

The big front line of Evanston overpowered Maine South in an important conference opener.
Rosemary Gibbons led the Wildkits in kills with 8 and Maggie Serieka added 4 kills of her own to go along with her intimidating presence blocking at the net.
New Trier (10-0, 1-0) def. Niles North (6-9, 0-1)

Niles North managed to hang with the undefeated Trevians, but did not quite have enough to pull off the upset.
Niles West (10-2, 1-0) def. Glenbrook South (8-7, 0-1)

The outside hitting duo of Natalia Pehar and Elianna Scalero led the Wolves to a comfortable win against GBS.
Pehar had 10 kills, 3 blocks and 6 digs on the night, while Scalero added 7 kills and 6 digs of her own.

Maine East (4-3, 1-0) def. Maine West (6-4, 0-1)
(20-25, 25-10, 25-22)
Maine East completed the District 207 sweep as they defeated Maine West to open up CSL North play.
Maine East was led by Erika Christiansen who dished out 25 assists and 5 aces for the Blue Demons. Chris Kotsifas led the way for Maine East in kills with 9 and Morgan Fritze added 8 blocks.
In a losing effort, Jessica Reidl and Reilly Olsen had 9 kills each and Amanda Grzebien added 17 digs.
Maine East will face Highland Park and Maine West will play Vernon Hills on Thursday.
