In a game that saw 14 lead changes, and included a first half in which the largest margin was just four points, Bolingbrook prevailed for the 66-64 victory.
Big shot, after big shot, fell for Evanston, and in the end Loyola just didn’t have quite enough firepower to keep up with the Wildkits, who with their 56-42 win, captured their third straight sectional title.

After a 31 year absence, the girls basketball state championship trophy will take back residence in Des Plains after the Warriors capped off a perfect 35-0 season with a 58-46 win in the title game over Mother McAuley.

After an extremely slow start to the game where Morton looked extremely nervous, the Potters eventually settled into the game to take 65-51 win and advance to the 3A championship game.
