As a team, GBS had an incredible kill percentage of 0.365 to win their first conference match of the season. Kate Gregory was extremely efficient hitting at a 0.545 clip, Lindsey Lathrop hit 0.500 and Kiley Hanson hit 0.444 for the Titans.

Maine East keeps pace with Highland Park with their win against GBN. Chris Kotsifas led the Blue Demons in kills yet again with seven, and Morgan Fritze added six kills and three blocks of her own.
Highland Park (8-6, 3-0) def. Vernon Hills (3-11, 0-3)

Highland Park remains undefeated in conference with a win over Vernon Hills. It doesn’t get any easier for Vernon Hills as their next conference matchup is against Maine East.
Loyola (9-3, 0-1) def. Glenbrook South (8-9, 0-2)

Mary Kate Lopez led the Ramblers in kills with seven. Anne Martinson had an impressive all around game with three kills, three blocks, ten assists and 12 digs. Both teams return to conference play on Tuesday.
