Despite the constant lineup flux, the opportunities given to different players have started to pay off for Loyola, as the Ramblers easily handled Niles North 25-14, 25-18 to improve to 8-6 on the season.
The two powerhouse programs faced off for GBN’s home opener where the hosts came back after a poor opening set to beat the Tigers 22-25, 25-19, 25-14 to improve to 3-3 on the season.
After being down as many as four points late in set three, Maine East closed out the game with seven straight points to defeat Notre Dame 21-25, 25-15, 25-22 to claim their seventh win of the season.
