Saturday Nov 18.

St. Viator-41 (1-2), Schauburg-38

A balanced scoring attack led St. Viator to their first win on the season. Olivia Solimene had 13 points and 4 rebounds, Myia Clark had 11 points, and Natalie Krause and Michaela Muller both had 6.

Taft-65, Niles North-51 (0-2)

Taft overcame a whole host of issues to end up with the win over Niles North. Of their eight players who suited up, one left the game with an injury, one fouled out, and two others played the entire fouls quarter with two fouls.

Niles North was led in scoring by Alyssa Aragon, with 18 and freshman Albiona Ahmeti who added 14.

Warren-54, Fenwick-43

Warren’s Kaylen Dixon scored 13 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter to help the Blue Devils pull away from a tough Fenwick side. Jordyn Hughes added 18 points of her own for Warren.

Nazareth-63, Proviso East-56

After a slow start to the game, a big second quarter allowed Nazareth to coast to the win. Annie Stritzel led all scorers with a very quiet 37 points.

Friday Nov. 17

Maine West-83 (3-0), Hoffman Estates-11

Alisa Fallon lead the way this time for Maine West with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Angela Dugalic and Jocelyn Jacob continued their strong start to the season with 12 points each, and Catherine Johnson came up with 11 steals.

Thursday Nov. 16

Wheaton Warrenville South-50, St. Viator-31 (0-2)

Jayla Johnson scored 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting and added six rebounds for Wheaton Warrenville South in their win.

St. Viator’s Myia Clark had a double-double in the loss with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Maine West-73 (2-0), St. Charles North-23

Maine West keeps on rolling with a 50 point win over St. Charles North. As a team, Maine West came 26 steals.

Angela Dugalic secured her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Alisa Fallon had 10 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and Jocelyn Jacob had 12 points off the bench.

New Trier-65 (2-0), Loyola-59

Tuesday Nov. 14

Maine West-65 (1-0), Proviso West-26 (0-1)

There were no letdowns for Maine West in their opening contest. 14 of the 15 players on the roster scored, led by junior Rachel Kent with 13 points.

Jocelyn Jacob added eight points and four rebounds for the Warriors and Catherine Johnson dished out five assists.

New Trier-78 (1-0), Phillips-33 (0-1)
