IMG_8587

Things got pretty crazy outside of the top-5.

Seedings came out and everybody from the sixth spot down decided they wanted to lose this week to teams that they probably shouldn’t have, but thats basketball for you.

Good week for the city schools as Simeon reenters and Harlan makes their debut in the top-20 after a nice run to the semifinals which included a win over Whitney. Harlan is also the first 2A school to crack the rankings.

Loyola returning to their early season form at the right time. The top-7 seeds in the Maine East sectional are all really good.

Naz will probably be in 4A in the next year or two.

Maine West continues to do Maine West things and beat top-10 teams quite soundly.
