After dropping the opening set to the hosts Palatine, Barrington rallied to win 23-25, 25-10, 25-20 to remain undefeated in the MSL West with only three matches remaining.

The two teams lived up to the preseason hype, both entering the contest with matching 3-0 records in the NSC, but Libertyville’s 25-21, 31-29 over the Patriots put them squarely in the drivers seat to take the NSC crown.

After struggling in conference play with losses to Niles West and New Trier, Maine South finally got back to winning ways with their 27-25, 20-25, 25-23 win over Glenbrook South.
With three sophomore starters the Demons season has been riddled with growing pains, but despite the inconsistencies, Maine East earned their 10th win of the season with a 25-15, 25-23 win over Niles North.
It certainly wasn’t an upset win, but St. Patrick’s 25-23, 25-22 victory over Benet was…unconventional.

Ironically enough, GBN’s 25-22, 25-19 victory over Deerfield to put them atop the CSL North happened to fall on tax deadline day. Arguably the only event as consistent as the GBN boys volleyball program over the past 20 years.
Podcast for the week of 4/16
No matter the sport, there is always that one point in the season where teams finally start to click. That day for Stevenson came on Monday evening, as the Patriots held off a late Hersey run to win 25-20, 29-27 and claim their 16th win of the season.
The Blazers seemed well within striking distance of the top-ranked Hilltoppers, but one poor rotation was all Glenbard West needed to run away with a 25-13, 25-14 win.
